I’m not sure how many people know, but Migz had this project we were working on in the height of covid. Since we all couldn’t meet, we planned and shot everything virtually. It was one of its kind! (We briefly talked about it when he took over the Alchemist page one afternoon.)
You know how he would go above and beyond to get the perfect shots 🙂 If he told me to jump, I’d ask how high! We did an online makeup tutorial with Mdeizi, styling with Robi, Darren (Ghana), and then Migz directed me for 3 days virtually. He told me how to set up my camera, the settings, etc. None of it was easy, but it was so fun because passion drove us every day.
The shoot was about the monster that covid was (I was the monster but a very cute one if I may add thank you) After we did my part for those few days, the other model from I think Cameroon dropped out which messed our whole project.
Migz profusely apologised, but I encouraged him not to give up and that it would be okay! We spent the next few weeks just laughing and dreaming about what could have been. ❤️ He also had these hilarious stick drawings of the project that I kept giggling at 😄 …I wasn’t toooo sure about his drawing skills, but I could be wrong! 🤔 His vision was still very clear ❤️
I’ll try to look for some fitting pics of the project to share. Otherwise, that was my friend Migz and his brilliant brain, complimented by his beautiful heart.
